Reba H. Lemmons, currently serving as California, San Diego, American Society of Interior Designers’s (ASID) President, is a proud graduate of the San Diego Design Institute.
Upon graduation with her BFA, Reba continued working in La Jolla. When an opportunity to work with an architect in her home town of Fallbrook became available, she continued to develop her skills there.
Two years later she founded her own company, The Art of Design. For three years, owning and operating the company provided wonderful experiences as a stocking dealer in multiple furniture lines, fabrics, wall papers and accessories.
During this phase of her career, Reba enjoyed working with clients to build new homes and remodel existing ones.
Projects completed included hanging art work, designing a restaurant, renovating offices and continuing residential work. ASID Industry Partners assisted in many of the finished projects.
Reba’s primary focus is residential and ASID events of course! While projects closer to North County [San Diego] are nice, projects throughout San Diego are welcomed – especially custom designs based on the client’s wishes.
Along with a fellow designer she formed a joint venture, The Red Magnolia, a design company.
To enhance her skills and enjoyment of life, Reba attends art classes from local art schools and colleges as her schedule permits. Her first profession as a counselor supports her love for working with individuals, couples and families; and charities, especially those involving animals and children, remain near and dear to her heart.
